NEW Classes, courses and workshops

The Shechter Moves Professional Intensives courses have been an essential, on-going part of the company’s work for the last fifteen years. Delivered by our exceptional dance artists who have unparalleled insight into Hofesh’s body of work through creation, practice and performance. Our courses run from 3 – 6 days, comprising a daily warm up class, followed by exploration of repertoire extracts and creation tasks, echoing Hofesh’s creative process. Participants are offered one-to-one feedback and support, allowing them to apply this to their practice in the moment. Each course is planned carefully, taking into account feedback gathered from participants. This professionally focused area of the Shechter Moves programme is attended by both national and international dancers wishing to explore in depth, the work of the company.

Our masterclass offer is a popular part of our Shechter Moves delivery. These one-off sessions led by our associate Artistic Director Bruno Guillore, or our Company Rehearsal Directors, give professional dancers and students in full time vocational training, the chance to explore Hofesh’s fundamental movement principles, applying them directly to current repertoire. All our masterclasses allow time for questions and conversation with our company leadership.
