Paris Conservatoires Project

A new collaboration as part of the UK/France Spotlight programme on Culture 2024, supported by the British Council.

Throughout this academic year, students and teachers from the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris (CRR), the Conservatoire du centre W.A Mozart (Paris1er), the Conservatoire Paul Dukas (Paris 12ème) and the Pôle supérieur d’enseignement artistique Paris – Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB). Conservatoires de la Ville de Paris and the Pôle Supérieur Paris Boulogne-Billancourt have been working with Hofesh Shechter Company, for a major project as part of the 2024 Youth Olympiad. Featuring 162 young people from across the city, who will perform their own devised extracts from a range of Hofesh’s works, the culmination of this project will be performed at Théâtre de la Ville in May, and across four sites in Paris in June as part of the Fête de la Musique.
